The Brief

Life gets easier with Goodfood boxes. No more food waste, no more unnecessary leftovers. There’s only one person who’s upset about this – Richard, Goodfood’s raccoon. 5S created a 15-second TV ad starring Richard with humor and creativity, incorporating all the brand’s codes and its famous mascot.

The Content

Welcome to Richard’s life, as he takes us through his typical day: he digs through trash cans, spying on people cooking delicious Goodfood meals. The TV ad adopts a vlog format and features Goodfood’s iconic mascot to engage the audience and embody the brand’s values, such as reducing food waste and ensuring the freshness of ingredients – things that Richard can only hate.

The secret sauce

Richard talks about his daily frustrations with Goodfood, but this time, the camera is in his hands. By becoming the face of his own content, his videos seem to come directly from his social media, expanding Goodfood’s universe and its opportunities for social and promotional content, while blurring the lines between traditional TV ads and digital content.
